About the Book
The first book of a significant new talent in the New Zealand literary scene.

Reviews of Tim Upperton’s poems:
‘… in its trembling delicacy, a marvel of verbal concordance and harmony, seeking to transcend the act of memory which is its subject.’ – David Eggleton

‘… master of the surprising image … well made; thoughtful and crafted to last.’ – Anne French

‘… gentle, knowing puns and an almost filmic precision … delicate use of aural felicities, its playfulness and yet the way it reinfuses an ordinary sight with fresh wonder.’ – Emma Neale

‘… a beautifully written poem, a singing poem … fluent and skilful.’ – Jack Ross

Listen to an interview with Tim on National Radio's 'Arts on Sunday' programme here (mp3).
